Gorsedh Kernow Bardic Ceremony - Newquay 2018

Besides the main Bardic Ceremony Newquay also held a Civic Parade in the morning. Many 'Old Cornwall' societies supported this event as well as the main afternoon Bardic Parade across the Barrowfields.

Besides the parade of Old Cornwall banners the Gorsedh Esedhvos Festival is a good opportunity for Old Cornwall Societies to be involved in a number of activities that help promote the 'Old Cornwall' movement as well as sharing their areas historic and cultural heritage. Newquay Old Cornwall Society were particularly proactive in helping organise events and carryout many duties to ensure the event went smoothly.
